For example, the Palladio Suite owns a 180 degree view over the Venetian lagoon, a private garden with an outdoor heated jacuzzi, while the new Dogaressa Suite, which was opened in 2005, located right opposite St. Mark’s square, has the biggest sitting room the palazzo, and is decorated with original Coromandel screens, antique Chinese lamps, Fortuny and Rubelli fabrics.
The hotel has 3 restaurants. The Fortuny Restaurant has 2 terraces between the flowered gardens, in front of an antique water fountain bordering the lagoon. The restaurant is elegantly decorated with blown glass, delicate fabric and amber-colored mirror, with the view of the lagoon and St Mark’s dome as the backdrop. The restaurant serves Cipriani-style cuisines. The other restaurant is a poolside one, serving buffets and is also opened for lunch whenever weather allows, while the Cip’s Club offers refined yet casual Venetian delicacies.
The spa center in the hotel, the Casanova Spa, offers a wide variety of spa treatments including famous Babor massages. The treatment rooms are opened onto private terraces which allow you to have high privacy while enjoying a scenic peaceful view. One of the treatment rooms is dedicated to the special SeaCreation treatment, which uses shells and special fluid sourced from the deep sea created by Babor.
Besides the spa center, the hotel also comprises of an outdoor Olympic filtered salt-water pool, which is heated in the colder months; a red clay tennis court, a well-equipped fitness center, 2 computers in the lobby with high speed connection and golfing facilities, which takes place in March, April and October.
The room price varies across seasons and room type, but just to give an idea, the price of garden view double room is around € 500 while a junior suite with lagoon view is around € 1200.
